Penguin Design System

Book Cover Design | January 2025

The Brief: Create a bold, distinctive, and mass-market design system for Penguin paperbacks — adaptable across genres and eras, and reflective of the diversity in contemporary publishing.

I translated the book’s emotional landscape into colour gradients that reflect its mood, used typography to distinguish between classic and modern titles, and a spine icon system to indicate genre.

Puppy Mills

Data Visualisation and Information Design | October 2022 - May 2023

A social media animation using data visualisation to convey the severe issues surrounding puppy mills in the United States. Research, design process and outcome presented in a long-scroll format. Softwares used include Adobe Illustrator, Adobe After Effects and Procreate.

Dear Asian Youth is a nonprofit organisation that aims to empower, educate and uplift Asian youths, and is composed of 140+ worldwide chapters. As a designer of the Hong Kong chapter, I created promotional materials, original graphics and worked collaboratively with the design team.

The Brew Coffee House

The Brew Coffee House is a cafe opened by two friends and coffee lovers in an old town in Spain. They are looking for timeless and modern branding, and deliverables including logo identity, menu design and packaging design.
