About Me

Hello and welcome! I am Ashley Tjang, a a multidisciplinary creative from Hong Kong with a strong focus on illustration and a love for both digital and traditional media. Since graduating from the University of Leeds in 2023, I’ve continued to explore the space where Art and Design meet. ​

Recently at the 2023 FUAM Graduate Art Prize Exhibition, 'Around the Table', a projection installation of an animation about migration, received the Prize Winner and People's Choice Award Winner.

​

I worked collaboratively at Dear Asian Youth Hong Kong as the Head of Design, creating content, promotional materials and original graphics for our page (@dearasianyouth.hk).

​

In the summer of 2021, I joined the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) of Hong Kong as a Design Intern and worked closely with their design team. I assisted and created artworks to communicate events organised by LCSD, such as creating a newsletter page and social media posts on upcoming exhibitions and openings. I also produced design options for the Hong Kong Flower Show 2022 souvenir bag and poster.
